Herbs:

I hope everyone had an enjoyable Mother's Day.  We have been very steady with traffic to the greenhouse since we opened, and plants are starting to go out the door.  I am pleased to say that we are already sold out of Nasturtiums.  (This is a record for us, as it was less than a week after we opened.)  If you are worried about getting your first choices in plants - come visit us soon!  Please remember to harden off your seedlings before planting in the ground, it is always good for them to get acclimatized to their new home before they are planted.  To do this, set your plants outside for a few hours each day, bringing them in at night and keeping them out of the wind, and gradually working them up to a full day/overnight and similar conditions to their new home.  Also, we are having some normal Alberta weather so far this spring, if you have planted your plants outside, don't forget to cover them up if there is frost in the forecast!

As the weather starts to co-operate, people will be starting to plant their veggie gardens, with that I am posting a current list of all of our veggies and herbs.
